A manufacturer, dealer, or distributor of motor vehicles may apply for a reasonable number of commercial car demonstration placards.
In addition to the purposes permitted by section 4503.30 (dealer plates), commercial demo plates may be displayed on vehicles used for delivery, hauling, transporting, or other lawful purpose, or on motor vehicles being demonstrated to a prospective purchaser.
Application: BMV Form 4345 must be completed, notarized, and submitted with the applicable fee.
Commercial car demonstration application fees are prorated. The date the application is received by the BMV determines the required fee.
